A Novel Rewrite/New Genre is Underway

The changes are so significant, this is almost a new first draft, a chance to add all that the novel lacked, to reshape it, to listen to my inner voice, and to do my characters justice.

Not Really An Announcement

Sometimes no news is little news. Other times a little news in big news. This is hovering somewhere in between.

I am still essentially writing my first (viable) novel. However, I can tell you a rewrite like this is not just tweaking a few sentences, moving around some paragraphs or chapters. It is digging deeper into a tighter narrative with rounded characters.

It is both all-consuming as well as terrifying. I am enjoying the challenge enormously. When I’m not writing (occasional breaks arise due to my health from time to time) I am like a proverbial bear with a very sore head. Ask my husband.

When writing, I am in my happy place.

Born to write.
